Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Overview
Landscape Professionals of Texas (“LPT Inc.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through landscapeprotx.com (the “Site”), our online forms, and our SMS/text messaging program; how we use and share it; and the choices you have. By using the Site, submitting a form, or opting in to text messages from us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact details you submit through our contact, free-estimate, or newsletter forms: name, email address, phone number, and property address or service area.
- Details about your project or service request, such as property type, the services you are interested in, and any message you write.
- Your SMS consent choice, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and the date and time you agreed, which we keep as a record of your opt-in.
- Anything you share with us later by phone, email, or text.
- Transactional information: if you engage our services, we may collect payment details and related billing information through our invoicing tools.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical information (browser type, device, operating system, screen size, approximate location from IP address) and usage information (pages visited, time on page, referring page) collected through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for site analytics.
- Marketing attribution signals: the campaign parameters (UTM tags) and advertising click identifiers (such as
gclid, fbclid, msclkid, ttclid) in the link you used to reach the Site, the referring website or search engine (including AI search assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini, or Claude), the first page you landed on, and the date of your first visit. - We store those attribution signals in your browser’s local storage under the key
lpt_attribution_v1for up to 365 days. This is a first-party record that stays in your browser; it is sent to us only if you submit a form, so we can tell which marketing channel led to your inquiry.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to quote requests, consultations, and general inquiries.
- To schedule and deliver landscaping, irrigation, and maintenance services.
- To send service updates by email, phone, or text and, if you opt in, occasional seasonal tips, newsletters, and promotional offers.
- To measure which marketing channels (search engines, paid ads, referrals, AI search assistants) bring visitors and inquiries to the Site.
- To maintain and improve the security, performance, and usability of the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.
SMS / Text Messaging
Opt-in
When you check the consent box on one of our forms and provide your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from Landscape Professionals of Texas at that number. Messages may be transactional (confirmations, appointment reminders, estimate follow-ups, and updates about your inquiry or requested services) and, where you have opted in, marketing (seasonal tips, promotions, and offers). Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
Frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge a fee for our text messages; your mobile carrier may.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. After you opt out you may receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (214) 361-7992 or info@landscapeprotx.com.
SMS consent and third parties
Your mobile phone number and SMS consent will not be shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share your number only with the messaging and CRM platform that sends texts on our behalf, and that provider may use it only to deliver our messages.
Cookies, Consent, and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, measure Site performance, record marketing attribution, and (if and when advertising campaigns are active) deliver and measure advertising. Specifically:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, website analytics, attribution measurement, and conversion tracking. Google may set cookies such as
_ga. - First-party attribution record, the
lpt_attribution_v1local-storage entry described above (up to 365 days). - Privacy preference cookie,
lpt_privacy_optout, set only if you use our Do Not Sell or Share control (one year). - GoHighLevel (HighLevel). Our customer relationship management (CRM) platform. Form submissions, including your SMS consent record and attribution data, are sent to our CRM so we can respond to and manage your inquiry. GoHighLevel also delivers our text messages.
- Vercel, website hosting and delivery of our form-processing functions.
We may in the future enable the following tools through Google Tag Manager. They are not active at the time of this policy; if we turn any of them on, we will update this section:
- Microsoft Clarity, anonymized session recordings and heatmaps to improve usability.
- Meta Pixel, measurement of advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
- Google Ads conversion tracking, measurement of advertising on Google.
Google Consent Mode
Our tags run under Google Consent Mode v2. For visitors in the United States and most other regions, analytics and advertising storage are allowed by default because we do not display a cookie banner. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, advertising storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, and analytics storage default to denied. For any visitor whose browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, or who has used our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information control, advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are set to denied before any tag loads.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect some Site functionality, and clearing cookies will reset any opt-out preference you have saved.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our CRM, to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers, the platforms named above (CRM and messaging, analytics, hosting) and other vendors such as scheduling, invoicing, or payment tools, only to the extent necessary for them to perform services for us and under obligations to protect your information.
- Advertising partners, if we run advertising campaigns, advertising cookies and pixels may transmit browsing information to Google or Meta. Under the CPRA this may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising; the Do Not Sell or Share control and GPC signals turn it off.
- Legal and safety, when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LPT Inc. our clients, or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the same protections in this policy.
Data Retention
We keep form submissions and CRM records for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, serve you as a client, maintain records of your SMS consent, and meet legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings. The browser-side attribution record expires after 365 days; the opt-out cookie expires after one year.
